Z Launcher: Nokia's New launcher for Android

You might be knowing that Nokia was interested in Android before it was being sold to Microsoft.. Because of that Nokia launched Nokia X- Nokia's first Android phone. And now we came to know that Nokia also made a home screen launcher for Android- known as- Z Launcher. According to Nokia, the more you use, the better it gets and gives up time oriented results.

The app has been tested on Nexus 5, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5, HTC one and a few other phones but works flawlessly on Moto G.

Features to love:

  Scribble Feature:

  • The main idea behind this is tapping and sliding less on your phone and enhancing your smartphone experiance by gestures. Although it will take some time to get used to of it, but still its a nice way to deal with.

  • Z Launcher learns from your usage patterns and thus promotes app at the right time when it should be launched.

  • Quick search using hand-writting.

What we didn't like:

  • No widgets can be used so it can be a big cons.
  • Only one homescreen is present resulting in less screen space.
  • The app drawer is only present in list mode and you have to hunt for specific apps.
  • The home screen is non-costumizable and you can only change the wallpaper.
How to download:

Wellthis is a Beta version, and is not available on Google Play Store. To install this app you must be having Android 4.1+ (non rooted). You can visit www.zlauncher.com from your Android device and after signing in by your Google account, download the apk file.

If you directly want the apk file, download it from here..
Steps:

  1. Download the above mentioned file.
  2. Go to settings>security>and Tick ''Unknown Sources".
  3. Now install the above file.
  4. Click 'open' when installation completes.
  5. Follow further steps as directed.
That's all! Enjoy the new Z-Launcher. Any Queries? Drop a comment below!
