Before Starting, let me ask you a Query...
What Is ROOTING??
Rooting primarily means giving administrative access (root access) to your device. When the phone is unrooted, you can adjust only those settings & customizations which are allowed by your smart phone manufacturer. But, by rooting, you can modify the device's software to its maximum extent.
Once your device is rooted, an app named ‘Superuser’ gets
installed in your device which allows you to control which apps should be
granted administrative permissions.
Advantages Of Rooting:
When
it comes to advantages, the list is nearly endless!!!

- FULL SYSTEM ACCESS: First and foremost, you are now having full control over your system. You can now set the CPU speed of your device manually (using apps like SetCPU). It also allows you to overclock (increase the processor speed to an extent) your device, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

- VANISHES INTERNAL MEMORY ISSUE: Rooting is a godsend to those devices which have very low internal memory. You can create a partition on your SD card and make that your internal memory. Devices originally having 150 MB of Internal Memory after rooting, enjoy 1GB of memory.
- BLOATWARE REMOVAL: With root access you can remove those system apps which can’t be uninstalled earlier (These may be the Bloatwares- those apps which are never exploited by the user and above all they can’t be removed).
- DEEPER BACK-UPS:

The Backup service is
available to non-root
users also but if you have a rooted device,
you can make deeper backups. Use app
like Titanium Backup or MyBackup Root, these
apps not only backs up all
of your apps, but
they can also back up all of the data stored
by those apps.
So if you've been going great
in Subway Surfers but you want to wipe
your phone, then you can use the above
apps to back up and then restore the game,
and
you'll be right at that instant where
you previously left.

- INFINITE CUSTOMISATIONS: As it is clearly known Android is already the most customizable mobile OS present today, but if you root your phone then you can almost do anything. If you want a total change, you can download custom ROMs. These Custom ROMs not only enhances your look and feel but can also update your Android Version.
Limitations Of Rooting:

- Once your phone has been rooted, your manufacturer warranty voids. This is probably the most significant reason for those who are not rooting their Android devices.
- Another negative consequence is the risk of bricking your cool toy. But, the chances of damaging your phone are near to null if you follow each and every step very carefully.
- Rooting also compromises with your smart phone’s security, but it is not much serious concern.
Final Words:
As you can see, the advantages of rooting far overshadow the
disadvantages. But still, rooting does not matter for those users who use their
smartphones only for attending calls, SMS, or Facebook… The most important part
of all is knowing your risks. Rooting can be dangerous if you don't have the
proper knowledge about the procedure but still you started rooting.My opinion is to
be patient, read all the instructions carefully, and don't hesitate to ask for
help. You must remember that you are doing this at your own risk and no one
else is responsible except you if you end up by bricking your device.
